As the operator of this website, Ahmed RaGaB is the data controller under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Art. 4(7).

A. Feedback submissions

When you use the Give Feedback form, you may optionally provide:

• Your name (optional — you can submit anonymously)
• Your email address (optional — only if you want a follow-up)
• Your feedback text (praise and criticism fields)
• Context about how you know the site owner (optional)

This data is transmitted to Formspree Inc. (see Section 4) and forwarded to ahmed@ragab.de. It is not stored on ragab.de itself, shared with any other party, or used for marketing.

B. Server logs

Like all websites, ragab.de's hosting provider may automatically log technical data when your browser visits, including your IP address, browser type, and pages accessed. These logs are used solely for security and technical diagnostics and are not linked to your identity.

C. No cookies set by this site

ragab.de does not set any tracking or advertising cookies. A single entry is stored in your browser's localStorage to remember your cookie consent preference. This data never leaves your browser.

• Feedback submissions — processed on the basis of your explicit consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)) and the legitimate interest of the site owner in receiving professional feedback (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Server logs — processed on the basis of legitimate interest in maintaining website security (Art. 6(1)(f)).
• Google Fonts — loaded only after your explicit consent (Art. 6(1)(a)).

The following third-party services are used. They are only activated after you give consent via the cookie banner, except for Formspree which is only activated when you submit the feedback form.

None of these services are used for advertising or sold to data brokers.

As an EU resident you have the following rights:

• Right of access — request a copy of any personal data held about you
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate data
• Right to object — object to processing based on legitimate interest
• Right to withdraw consent — withdraw consent at any time via the Cookie Settings link in the footer
• Right to lodge a complaint — with your national data protection authority (in Germany: BfDI ↗)

Feedback submitted via the form is retained in the Formspree dashboard and the site owner's email inbox for as long as it is relevant. You may request deletion at any time by emailing ahmed@ragab.de with details of your submission.

Server logs are retained by GitHub Pages according to their own retention policy. Your consent preference (stored in localStorage) remains in your browser until you clear it via Cookie Settings or your browser's storage controls.

This policy may be updated occasionally. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
